Craig was born and raised in Chicago, and moved to the L.A. area to continue his education at Azusa Pacific University. While there, he began his career as a free-lance bass trombonist, tubist, arranger, orchestrator and copyist.
He enjoys performing in a variety of styles, and has worked with groups and artists such as The Riverside Philharmonic, Redlands Symphony, the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra, the Boston Pops at the Hollywood Bowl, Barry Manilow, Ralph Carmichael’s Big Band, and Gordon Goodwin’s Big Phat Band. He has taught theory and applied music at Azusa Pacific University and Citrus College.
Craig has also worked on mumerous recordings for films (such as the oscar-nominated “Silverado” and “National Treasure”), television (including Emmy-winning “Tiny Toons” and “Animaniacs,” and "Lost"), and Broadway shows (“Ragtime”, “Chicago”, “The Lion King,”and “The Producers”).
